After learning about the history and conservation of our building and following the builders' progress over 14 months, Shapla Year Six and St Paul's Year Five rounded off their Conservation Documentation Project in style. There was much hilarity as they watched videos of themselves recounting
their favourite moments from the project and listened for the first
time to the podcasts they recorded in their final classroom workshops a
few weeks ago. Finally, after awards for the best front pages and
podcasts, a group portrait on the stage to show off their favourite
pages from their project scrapbooks:
As they all move up to the next year and on to secondary schools, we
hope they will take with them fond and lasting memories of their
involvement with Wilton's. We hope to see them return, bringing friends
and family, making Wilton's a part of their lives.
Meanwhile, without
further ado, may we present the podcasts...

Through the Eyes of a Child - Part Three
Welcome to Part Three of our schools project in which the children tell the story, in their own words, drawings and photos, of our building conservation work. In this final round of tours and workshops, St Paul’s Year Five and Shapla Year Six interviewed architects, builders and Wilton's staff to create their very own podcasts …
The children will hear their podcasts for the first time, along with their teachers and families, at a special event on 15th July to mark the end of this schools' Conservation Documentation project. If you would like to listen, we will post a link to our sound cloud after the 'premier' on the 15th.
