Pat Griffin is 73
years old. Pat is a builder. That's what he does. His daughter Joanna Griffin
is 29 years old. Joanna is a writer-performer. That's who she is. Is it
actually that simple?
Bricking It will see Pat and
Joanna swap jobs. Comedy-virgin Pat will learn how to be a comedian (from some
familiar industry faces) while Joanna will build the stage (brick by brick) for
his first time in the spotlight. Pat thinks Joanna’s never done an honest day's
work in her life. Joanna thinks you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
Together, they want to find out what it really means to walk in another
(wo)man’s shoes. A largely improvised show that will be different every night,
Bricking It will look at how much
what you do affects who you are. Will Pat disappear from site or will he bring
the house down?
Warning: Will contain white vans,
wolf whistling and dad gags
