Aimi's one woman show is a delightful melange of gossip and music from Sondheim to Dolly Parton.
Showbiz legend, Aimi Macdonald, has fascinating tales to tell. From groundbreaking 1960s comedy sketch shows through London's West End, TV and film, she's worked with them all - Marty Feldman, John Cleese, Oliver Reed, David Niven, Roger Moore - the list goes on. Join Aimi and her pianist, Trevor Defferd, for an hysterical journey through her life and career, told through anecdotes, song and, of course, plenty of gossip.
Aimi began her career as a dancer in Paris and Las Vegas, going on to star in West End productions such as Lady Be Good, The Mating Game and Run for your Wife. Many national and international tours followed, including the title role in Miss Jean Brodie and, more recently, Summer Holiday with Christopher Biggins. A favourite role for her was playing Lucia in the musical of E F Benson's Mapp & Lucia. Television credits include At Last the 1948 Show, Sez Les, Rentaghost, Doctors, and Shirley's World with Shirley Maclaine. Film credits include Take a Girl Like You with Oliver Reed, Vendetta with Roger Moore, and Man About the House with Richard O' Sullivan.
