Experience the 1922 expressionist classic Nosferatu: Symphony of Horror in a new light, set to an original score performed live by pianist Dmytro Morykit.

Unlike modern horror films, Nosferatu's style is haunting and evocative, now considered a masterpiece of cinematography. At times dancing with the action on screen, and at others offsetting it, Morykit's original piano suite score creates a sense of loss, nostalgia and an unexpected heightening of the senses.

This performance has toured internationally and in September 2017 Dmytro performed it at the Baltic Film and Media School of Tallinn University in Estonia.

Morykit first performed at Wilton’s back in 2013 when he premiered his score to Fritz Lang’s Metropolis. Seeing Wilton’s as a natural home for classic acoustic piano and silent film and he has returned each year since. 'In this magical space, the walls themselves seem to reverberate as I play.'
