Dai & The Ramblers are one of the most exciting bands to emerge from London's roots music scene over the last few years, and play in a style joining the dots between Cajun, folk and blues music.

Singer and guitarist Dai Price writes songs for Dai & The Ramblers, and also runs the New Orleans rhythm and blues and mambo sextet The Cosimo Matassa Project. Rupert Gillett plays double bass with the Ramblers, but is perhaps better known for his work on cello with Jacqui Dankworth, Arcopia and many others. The band features seasoned sidemen Alan Dunn on piano and accordion (Loudon Wainright, Richard Thompson), and Bob Loveday on fiddle (Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, The Penguin Cafe Orchestra).

Dai & The Ramblers' live gigs have earned them a reputation as one of the finest roots music acts around, combining fresh original songwriting with outstanding seat-of-the-pants musicianship.

"This is a heavyweight songwriter at work." - Rory Carlile (New Roots)
