18th January to 4th February . 7.30pm Tue - Sat | Thur & Sat matinees 3.00pm .
£14.50 - £29 full price | £12.00 - £26.50 concessions

Following the sell-out run in 2020, Told by an Idiot returns to Wilton's Music Hall as part of London International Mime Festival with their 5-star, 80-minute non-stop entertainment about the greatest comedy double act that 'almost' was!

From their early days in showbiz sharing a stage, and even sharing a cabin on a voyage to New York, Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel went on to become two of the biggest stars of the age. Stan Laurel, however, is not mentioned in Chaplin's autobiography once. So what happened?

Charlie & Stan is a true(ish!) jam-packed show about two of the world's most celebrated comedians and a 'riotous masterclass in storytelling' (★★★★★ WhatsonStage).

Accompanied by a live piano score composed by MOBO Award winning jazz musician Zoe Rahman, this is a guaranteed good night out delivered by 'one of the jewels of left-field British Theatre' (the Guardian). Not to be missed!

‘Not A Bad Dancer:
When Charlie Chaplin auditioned as a young man for Fred Karno’s famous music hall troupe the comment was: “He might have something, and he’s not a bad dancer”.
Join Idiot AD Paul Hunter and some very special guests as they discuss why physicality matters.
This discussion will be BSL interpreted by Paul Michaels.
