Wilton's

Presented by Antic Productions

18th October to 19th October . 7.30pm .
£10 - £20 full price, £8 - £18 concessions

Produced by Emma Hall and directed by Charlie Parham.

Inspired by the iconic heritage of Wilton's, Antic Productions invites you to celebrate the herstory of music hall – from the Victorian East End to present-day Tower Hamlets.

You don't need to
know your Peggy Prydes from your Bessie Bellwoods to have a ball with the pride of London's cabaret, drag and comedy artists. Come and see these mad, wicked follies slaying the velvet!

Featuring Miss Hope Springs (‘Tragi-comic genius’, Julian Clary), Diane Chorley ('Raucously jolly', Evening Standard), intergalactic glitter rock band ACM (‘Stalwarts of the queer punk scene’, LOVE Magazine), Aurora Kills (‘A religious experience’, Rikki Beadle-Blair), LIPSYNC1000 Winner Bolly-Illusion, Crystal Rasmussen ('Makes Beyoncé sound like a mewling kitten', Scotsman), Dinah Lux ("Is this the face of the 21st-century polymath?", i-D), Glamrou (‘Full of heart and soul’, Scotsman), Helen Duff (‘Bold, subversive and very funny’, Scotsman), Hollie Buhagiar (‘Effortlessly glides across octaves’, Soundcloud), Keith Ramsay ('All twinkle and tremble', Time Out) and a very special guest appearance from Olivier Award Winner Monica Dolan.

Antic Productions returns following its recent UK premiere production of Jen Silverman's queer spectacle Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties (6 OFFIE Award Nominations, including a finalist nomination for Best Production). Inaugurated as Antic Face with a sell-out production at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the 'bold young company' (Guardian) has since produced acclaimed new plays across London. Led by Producer/Actor Emma Hall (Ian Charleson Award Nominee) and Director/Performer Charlie Parham (also one fifth of drag band DENIM), Antic Productions was appointed an Associate Company of English Touring Theatre in 2018.

Running time: approximately 2 hours, including a 20 minute interval.
