Information About Your Visit

Wheelchair Users

The whole ground floor and auditorium is wheelchair accessible and there is an accessible, gender-neutral toilet on the ground floor next to the women’s toilets.

Our standard wheelchair accessible spaces are in Row N of the stalls, although this may change on occasion. Please call the Box Office on 020 7702 2789 to book these tickets.

There is limited seating space in the ground floor Mahogany Bar – if you’d like to reserve a table in this area please email [email protected] and we can reserve you a space (subject to availability).

First Floor (including balcony)

There are 19 stairs to access the first floor (with four additional steps to access the balcony). Within the balcony there is a step down to access the front row of seats. Once on the first floor there are between one and five steps to access the various rooms.

Please be aware that there are changes in the level and surface of the floor throughout the building.

Arriving at Wilton’s

Our main entrance is on Graces Alley, which is pedestrianised. If you are driving, be aware that there is very limited parking in the streets around Wilton’s, with a permit scheme in some streets – please check signage when you arrive. There is a public car park on the corner of Mansell Street and Shorter Street. A one-way system operates in this area and it is not possible to turn into Ensign Street from Cable Street; cars can only travel up Ensign Street from the southern end at The Highway north to Cable Street.

D/deaf and hard of hearing Patrons

Please contact our box office to discuss the best place to sit for your chosen performance.

Access Tickets

If you are eligible for an access ticket, or think you may be eligible, please call our Box Office to book on 0207 702 2789 (Choose Option 1). We can offer a companion ticket, where required, free of charge.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome in the building.

Emergency Procedures

Should it become necessary to evacuate the building, a two-tone alarm signal will sound and our Front of House team will provide directions as to the best route of evacuation using both hand gestures and vocal instructions.

Anything else?

If you’ve got any questions please contact us on [email protected] and one of our team will be happy to help. We can offer you advice on the best place to sit in the auditorium, arriving at the venue, or making arrangements to visit.

Once you are in the building, please approach one of our Front of House, Box Office or Bar team members who will be happy to help.

Facilities

Cloakroom Facilities

We do not operate a cloakroom and for safety and security reasons we discourage guests from bringing large bags to Wilton’s. Guests with large bags may be denied entry to the theatre.

Baby Changing

Baby changing facilities are available in the gender-neutral accessible toilet on the ground floor next to the women’s toilets.

Pushchairs/Buggies

Due to limited space and no cloakroom facilities, we’d ask you to leave your buggy at home when possible. We may be able to collapse and store your pushchair at the Box Office if we have space, but this is not guaranteed, and no pushchairs can be taken into the auditorium.

All children aged over one year require a ticket to enter the auditorium. Babes in Arms are Free of Charge – but please check on the suitability of the performance when booking the ticket.

Children

Children are very welcome in Wilton’s bars as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Alcohol is only for consumption by persons 18 years and over. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult whilst watching a show in the auditorium.
