Maestro Dmytro Morykit returns to Wilton’s for a final performance of Land of Spectres, his live piano concert accompanying F. W. Murnau’s 1922 masterpiece Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror. Morykit’s powerful and haunting score breathes new life into this landmark of German Expressionist cinema, offering audiences a deeply immersive experience that unites film and music in perfect harmony.
Within the evocative atmosphere of Wilton’s, Nosferatu’s striking imagery takes on renewed intensity, each shadow and silence heightened by Morykit’s powerful performance.
This concert marks a poignant farewell to his live film concerts, Nosferatu and Metropolis which have defined Morykit’s touring career. Celebrated for his musicianship and imaginative re-scoring of these silent films, Morykit has captivated audiences worldwide, bringing new admirers to the artistry and expressive power of the solo piano and the haunting beauty of early cinema. He will now turn his focus toward more intimate projects.
