The 20s are back and so is silent film! Join musicians from The Lucky Dog Picturehouse as they recreate a night at the (not so silent) cinema from 100 years ago.

Tuesday 14th - Dickens on Film with live score, plus shorts
Experience the very first film adaptations of Charles Dickens' most beloved stories including Nicholas Nickleby, The Pickwick Papers and of course Oliver Twist!

Wednesday 15th - Underground (1928) with live score, plus shorts
London's Underground takes the starring role in this drama; with its busy corridors, shadowy passages and plunging escalators, British director Anthony Asquith's working-class love story is darker than it first seems.

"Silent film has no finer custodians." - Nicholas Barber, BBC Culture

"Loved every minute! A cultural treat for film and music fans." - Joanna Van Der Meer, BFI Education
