Wilton's

presented by John Hegley

13th February . Tue 7:30PM .
£12 - £20 full price | £9.50 - £17.50 concessions
Festival and radio regular John Hegley returns to us with elephants, crabs, horses, worms and an armadillo - along with a bouquet of amorous adventures: songs and poems which will engender emotional participation, optional chorusing and the possible purchase of signed merchandise.

In Wilton's, there will be a wall
where creatures will shuffle and crawl,
as the folk in the tales
with the slugs and the snails
all prepare for the Valentine's Ball.

Appropriate to the Music Hall setting, words and images will be accompanied by the sounds of mandolin, guitar, Portuguese cavaquinho and a convincing train whistle from the Didcot Railway Centre.

An evening with fun to be had, along with thoughtful, passionate, and sometimes spectacular musings.

Suitable for anyone who has been eight years old. Contains much rhyming language.

'Just because he is one of the funniest men alive, do not underestimate his dedicated genius' Adrian Mitchell, New Statesman

'Awesomely mundane' The Independent
