James Seabright presents Gill Hicks in

Still Alive (and Kicking)

Experience a special evening with the multi award-winning, five-star performance, Still Alive (and Kicking). At Wilton’s for one night only, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the London Bombings in July 2005.

Haunting, raw, uplifting and life-affirming, this extraordinary show is a celebration of being alive, a transformative journey masterfully told by artist and bombing survivor, Gill Hicks

Still Alive (and Kicking) features internationally acclaimed musicians including Dr Julian Ferraretto on violin, framing Hicks’ soulful jazz voice and her powerful projected artworks, leaving audiences spellbound by the visual and sensory feast.

Gill Hicks is one of the most thought provoking, powerful and life-affirming speakers in Australia. She is globally known as a survivor of the London terrorist Bombings on July 7th, 2005. She survived, but suffered severe and permanent injuries, losing both legs from just below the knee.

This exclusive London appearance is generously supported by Adelaide Fringe.

Bear: A Work In Progress

Bear: A Work In Progress follows Phoebe, a second year university student, whose father has just jumped off the roof of Aldi in Watford, accidentally dressed like Paddington Bear.

It is a play about growing up fast, in the wake of a catastrophic event in which a young person’s life is thrown into turmoil. It is a piece of comedy gig-theatre with an electric soundtrack that pulsates through the narrative in the form of a live band, who aid Phoebe in her journey of accepting and rewriting what she knows of her father after the catastrophe.

We are very excited to be staging an `In-Concert’ version of Bear for the first time at Wilton’s Music Hall as part of their Creative Residency Programme. We would like to thank everyone who has donated to our crowdfunder, and who have supported Bear in any capacity thus far!
